Ship Later

The Ship Later feature in the  OTX  Point of Sale is an advanced feature that allows you to ship products later even after completing payment. It permits you to sell products now and deliver them later. This feature can be used to pay for your desired products in advance. In order to get this feature, you need to activate the Allow Ship Later option from the configuration settings of the respective POS.

After activating this option, you will get the Ship Later button on the PoS session during the payment process. For this, create an order in the PoS session and go to the payment window.

As shown in the screenshot above, click the Ship Later button after mentioning the customer.

Once the customer completes the payment, you can check the respective order in the backend from the Orders menu.

By clicking on the Picking smart button, you will get details of the picking of the product.

Here, you can see that the product is ready for picking.

By clicking on the Validate button, you can confirm the picking and ship the product for delivery to the respective customer.
